Kristin Cola, DO

Dr. Kristin Cola, a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, joined our practice in the fall of 2019. She is originally from Northeast Ohio, where she was born and raised. She spent most of her childhood playing tournament softball all the way into college. Prior to her arrival in SW FL, Dr. Cola trained in her home state of Ohio. She attended medical school at Ohio University and then went on to complete her five-year orthopedic surgery residency in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. During her time as a resident, she served as a leader in many roles, including president of the resident council and chief resident.

She left Ohio to pursue her pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship in Seattle, Washington, at the University of Washington. It was there where she focused on the surgical and non-surgical treatment of the numerous conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system in children, including clubfoot and scoliosis, and spinal deformity.

When she is not working, Dr. Cola enjoys spending time with her dog, Mutsy, visiting her favorite place – Walt Disney World, reading, sitting by the pool or going to the beach, having family and friends visit to enjoy the beautiful weather, exercising, and cheering on her favorite sports teams including the Green Bay Packers, Ohio State, the Cleveland Indians, and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
