Dr. Amy J. Harlow, MD
Dr. Harlow is a Board-Certified Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon who joined Pediatric Orthopedics of Southwest Florida in 2019. She specializes in treating complex hip disorders, Cerebral Palsy and other neuromuscular conditions with a focus on evidence-based, family-centered care.
Dr. Harlow completed her medical training at Oregon Health and Science University and her orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Colorado. She completed her pediatric orthopedic fellowship at the University of Utah, where she trained in the latest clinical practices and surgical techniques for children and adolescents. Half of her fellowship was spent at Shriners Hospital caring for children with a wide range of musculoskeletal diseases, including complex deformities, neuromuscular conditions and congenital disorders.
Dr. Harlow is dedicated to helping young patients move comfortably, confidently and safely as they grow. Her clinical interests include hip and neuromuscular conditions and she is committed to partnering with families to create individualized treatment plans.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Harlow enjoys spending time outdoors and embracing the Southwest Florida lifestyle.
